2025 Season Recap | Timber Trails Resort in Northern Minnesota

Another season has come to a close at Timber Trails Resort on Boy Lake, and goodness, what a season it was! Our hearts are full as we think back on all the memories made this year at our little slice of Minnesota heaven. 

We welcomed many returning families along with new guests, and it was wonderful to see the resort filled with familiar traditions — time on the water, evenings around the campfire, and plenty of fishing stories shared throughout the summer. From young anglers catching their first fish off the dock to experienced fishermen landing impressive catches, our Fishing "Wall of Fame" filled up once again.

Thank you to everyone who shared photos, videos, and stories from the season. We always enjoy seeing and hearing about your time here on Boy Lake.

This year also marked the first season of hosting guests in our newly renovated Ducks Unlimited Cabin. The updated layout, new kitchen, extra bathroom, and refreshed northwoods style were well received, and we’re glad to see the cabin enjoyed by so many families. This winter, we’ll be completing the kids’ loft in the new bedroom by adding the ladder and log railing.

With the major renovation behind us, this winter will focus on routine maintenance and necessary projects to maintain regular upkeep along with some smaller improvements and planning for future updates around the resort.

We appreciate everyone who was part of the 2025 season and look forward to another great year ahead here at Timber Trails Resort in northern Minnesota.
